Rider Accountants & Advisors is a boutique chartered accounting and business advisory firm.

Where are We?

We are a Digital Firm that conducts appointments via Zoom.  This means that clients based ANYWHERE can benefits from our skills and experience. We also have hard offices in Sydney’s Inner-West suburbs of Marrickville and Earlwood.

Who Owns the Practice?

My name is Steven Rider (hence the name of the firm in case you were thinking we only serviced clients with 2 wheels or 4 legs!), I am the Practice Director of the firm and a 54,000 hour CPA with a passion for helping small businesses and property investors.  I am a Chartered Accountant and CPA since 1998. My small but dedicated team will charter your business or property investment portfolio carefully through the rough waters of tax and business structuring.  I am a tax law expert that specialises in fighting the tax man so you keep your fair share of your hard earned income!

The firm only takes on a select number of small business accounting and committed private clients. We consult with these valued clients on implementing a property investment strategy, Xero cloud-based accounting systems, tax planning, funding and business advisory.

Our clients are well serviced with an intimate hands on approach ensuring you get the best business, property and tax advice.

The Story of this Practice

The firm now known as Rider Accountants & Advisors began life as Rider Business Consulting & Advisors in 1999 based in Pitt St in Sydney’s CBD.  The firm grew quickly in a 15 year period by signing on many of Australia’s well known mid-tier companies in a variety of industries.

Progress brought changes and the firm moved to offices in Newtown in 2009 before the client base was purchased by a larger firm 2014. 

A rebranding during covid saw the firm moved to the current offices in Marrickville and a focus on small business clients, property advice and tax.

Now the firm is a committed Xero certified partner with a specialist investment property tax and small business client base.
